magazines like redbook, cosmo, and glamour advertise those freebies, i was wondering if anybody actually won something from there….

   I haven’t, nor have I ever heard of anyone else.
   They have no reason to give anything away. All you have to do in advertising is tell the consumer what they want to hear and your product is a guaranteed sell.
