The following article will tell about the “free stuff” industry and answer any questions you may have.

Free is a term that is used quite carelessly, both in the legal and literal sense. Many sites mean by “free” only that you won’t have to shell out any cash. But some websites use the term in misleading ways. For example, many websites will offer “free stuff” that turns out to actually be useless discounts - i.e. spending $100 and getting a $10 reward. While you technically got some “free stuff,” in this case 10 bucks, you were forced to do something that you probably would rather not have done to get it. To get this particular “free” item, you would have to spend almost $300.

Know the Right Places to Look: Knowing the right place to look is the best way to get all sorts of free stuff. You need to be able to tell the difference between something that is free and something that comes with strings attached. What do I mean by strings attached? Amazingly, on some sites, you are required to pay a fee to receive the free items. No matter what, nothing is really free.

Truly free stuff does not exist. You will end up either referring a friend, filling out a survey, or, worst of all, BUYING something. In my opinion, the moment that you must make a purchase you are no longer dealing with a free offer, but that is a topic for another article. What you really want is a single site where you can get all your free stuff online.

What is available when it comes to free stuff?

If you go to the right website, you can get about everything you can buy at a store.

You can get free stuff for teachers, free scrapbooking stuff, free Christian stuff, free baby stuff, free wedding stuff, and even free special occasion stuff, to name just a few. And also free iPods, yes you heard that right – FREE.

So, how can I get all this free stuff?

You may be wondering if you have been missing out on getting free stuff. Or, perhaps even more likely, you are wondering, “What’s the catch?”; well, I am going to explain it all to you.

You have three options. One – you can take part in promotions and offers, two – fill out those forever long surveys or three – refer friends that you think would do it. After the required amount of friends have participated, you will receive your items. It might take some time for a person to refer friends, as they should be convinced, and hope that they agree to participate in a promotion, which the individual wanted to avoid.

You may not be okay with this. You may not like that very much. More than likely, your friends will now be bombarded with spam email, junk mail and other unwanted offerings, all courtesy of you. Do you really want to do this without asking your friends first?

If you make up your mind to take a survey, you could spend up to an hour on just a single survey. Get ready to let out a lot of personal information; what food you consume, how you eat that food, the way in which you wash you hands, and even which way you like the toilet paper roll. You will be forced to divulge a great deal of your personal information.

There are many merchants who, whether online or in a real store, are more than happy to give out free stuff if you visit their store or send in your address. There are times that you only have to pay the shipping to receive your item. The theory here is that if you try it and like it, you’ll go out and buy it. Sometimes they are giving you things to make room for new inventory.

These offers never last long, and by the time you hear of them, they are usually over. In order to benefit from the offer, one has to find out about it in time. This can be a daunting task for anyone hunting for freebies. Joining a group and sharing your findings is your best bet.

I’m an experienced freebie hunter, and I’ve found many sites I go to regularly to check out the latest deals. You will be amazed at what can be found for free with a little practice and smart searching.

How to get Freebies

This article will give you all the information you need to get free items from face cream, games, books, free flights, cash and more it is all available free on the internet. You just need to look in the right places.

Some of it is permanent freebies whilst others are “grab it whilst you can”. Both will be covered here. Finally for those of you who are really ambitious there are BIGGER freebies such as consoles, phones, HDTV’s and more. You must see a lot of these floating around the internet and immediately think scam. But the good news is that these are not scams but genuine opportunities to obtain amazing freebies.

Why give free stuff?

Companies give away free stuff to promote themselves and their products - simple! It’s all about promotion. Many freebies are samples of products which are given away in the hope that you will purchase the full sized version.

Most freebies are short lived, as companies only have a limited number they are able to giveaway.

Some however are permanent such as internet security software, free beauty samples, perfume samples, glowsticks, jelly beans etc I have accumulated a large stack of freebies which include, perfumes, ring sizers, creams, shampoo, T- shirts, cricket ball, vouchers, mascara, lucozade, comfort, dozing device, shower timer, alarm clock, permanent marker, DVDs, CDs, software, books, magazines, pens, rugby ball toy, sim cards, massage ball, mouse mat, balloons, jelly beans, chocolates, bags, mirror, AND MORE

If you want to find the latest freebies offered by sites check our Moneysaving expert, Bobs free stuff forum, and magic Freebies.

BIGGER freebies

Now moving onto the big stuff such as consoles, HDTV’s, I pods, I phones and more!

You will be thinking it is easy to see companies giving away samples, and vouchers but to be giving away items worth hundreds and thousands is unbelievable. Well that’s where your wrong.

The items are FREE, and the companies are not suffering any losses. These schemes have featured in a BBC Newsnight Podcast. So here is how it works:

1) Select your gift and sign up 2) Complete one offer 3) Refer your friends/family

The company gets commission for the offer you complete and this is how they afford you freebies.

You are only required to complete one offer and all the sites are well knows reputed companies such as Gala bingo, AA, Norwich, lotto, Love film etc

You may be thinking how this is free if I need to complete an offer. Well there is a FREE offer available for you to complete which is the 2 week love film trial. However most offers are very cheap usually only requiring a payment of $5 e.g.: gala bingo, lotto. Thus you can get an item worth hundreds by either spending nothing or a fiver! Do keep in if you are a resident of the USA or Canada the offers are different.

After you have referred enough people your chosen item will be delivered to your home, postage and packaging is also free of course. Here are pictures of people who have received their free gifts:

I find that I can make a decent amount of cash from this, as after I receive my free gifts I can either keep them ( some of them I do) or I can sell them off on ebay and Amazon.

I hope this article has been helpful and if you are interested in the BIGGER freebies visit the site below to select your free gifts:

We all like something for nothing and the Internet is jam-packed with FREE STUFF. Stuff like eBooks, Software, Screensavers, Pet Food, Ringtones, Free Samples, Free Services, Magazines, Free Websites etc., etc., the list goes on.

There are countless online newsletters and websites devoted to free stuff, some people make a hobby of finding freebies online, it can be habit forming but there are worse habits to have.

A word of caution though, some unscrupulous people use free stuff to send viruses, most free stuff is genuine, the ones to watch out for are unsolicited free offers through pop-ups and email etc. - best to leave these anonymous ones alone.

But as stated, most are genuine but it pays to be a bit wary.

I run a website that offers a new free gift everyday and every downloadable gift is scanned for viruses, I don’t want to get a bad name, reputation is everything online.

In a many cases, you need to complete questionnaires or click links to qualify for the free stuff but if you’ve got the time, it can be worth it. On some “free stuff” sites you have to jump through hoops to get the freebies which can be a bit of a pain.

Some freebies are just ploys to get you to part with money. Common ones are pc scans, these scan your computer for free to detect bugs or viruses and invariably they come up with negative results which to put right, you have to download their software which is not free.

I’m a bit of a cynic and wouldn’t be surprised if these scans found problems on brand new, unused equipment.

A lot of reverse phone searches purport to be free but in reality, you are directed to a sign-up page where you have to make a payment for the service. There are a few free ones out there but most have a catch.

Enjoy yourself tracking down freebies but remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

If you are on the internet very long you will probably come across some advertisement for a website promising to give away freebie stuff. You may not be sure if it is for real or if it is a scam. Most of the time when someone offers you something for free there is a catch to it.

When you go to these sites look around. See what they have to offer you. Could it really be that you can get Ipods for free? Can you really get an IPhone for free? The answer is, yes. You really can get them for free. Well, almost.

When you go to these sites you will need to give them your name and email address. You will also have to give them your address and maybe your phone number. Then you will have to complete certain offers and then they will mail it to you for nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Usually the offers involve certain terms and conditions. You will have to complete so many offers first. You may have to sign up for a magazine or sign up for a music club. Trust me, though, even with completing these offers the product that you get for free is still a lot cheaper then if you went into the store to buy it.

So if you want a free laptop or iPhone then go to one of these freebie sites and complete the offers. You will be amazed at the freebie stuff that you can get. Some site even offer cash as an option. It is up to you. Most sites will give you a choice of several free gifts. Whatever you decide it will be yours and for a lot less money. Free stuff is always good. Why not get something free for yourself?

Few things can be more exciting than getting something for nothing. Whatever may be the product or quantity, free samples always make you feel like Christmas. With internet marketing gaining such wide popularity, finding free samples has never been easy before. There are several sites which provide you with free sample offers. Again there are sites which have a huge listing of links which offer free samples.

Free samples are the best way of advertising. When you promote free stuff on your website, you will soon have links to your free samples all over the net. This will bring huge traffic to your site every day. Each of these visits is a potential new customer. Can there be a cheaper and more viable form of advertising?

Free stuffs benefit the manufacturer immensely. The samples are given to help the company make money in the long run. The samples are the best way to get the word out about new products without splurging on advertisements. The logic behind it is pretty simple. If something comes free, it tends to spread like jungle fire and more so with the help of mediums like the internet.

Apart from helping companies selling the products free samples work wonder for the retailer. Large and renowned retailers, like Traget and Walmart will sometimes get samples to give out to their customers. This not only promotes the product but also brings new customers into the store.

Plenty of websites offer freebies to visitors. It can be anything, from makeup samples to dog food freebies. However one has to be very careful. For every free stuff sites, there are ten fraudulent ones. If a site tells you to take a survey for a free sample or wants shipping or handling charges from you, you can safely conclude it is a spurious free stuff site.

Free samples can help you find out if the product really lives up to the claims. You also get to know if it is the right one for you and whether you can “keep up” with the treatment on the schedule required.  For instance you can try out with dazzle white free trial tooth whiteners. The biggest benefit of free samples is that you can get some initial results without expending lots of money. Companies know that all tooth whitening treatments will need to be repeated may be in a few weeks or even few years between treatments. So the introductory offer of free stuff is intended to win over the customer for life long. This gives companies a huge edge in the competitive market.

If you wish to win free samples you need to sign up at online free sample sites. Another good way is to visit the manufacturers’ websites regularly. You will be pleasantly surprised at how many samples, coupons and promotions you come across everyday and the huge chances you have of winning them.
