How about a free bundle for the bundle you just had? That joy in flesh that you like holding and playing with so much is likely proving to be a costly little package… You probably want to give them far more than you can. If so, here are some tips that will help you give your child more while spending less.

Begin with the internet. It has already proven itself to be a valuable tool in saving people money. From special deals on specific products and brands to the allowing users to search quickly and effectively thereby helping you find the best deals that are available, deals that you simply would not see in your local newspapers. You can literally scour the globe in search of what you want. A simple search will result in numerous returns, though.

Unfortunately not all of those results are related to what you want, not all of the related ones are that useful, and of the ones that are for a useful products the deal or requirement may not be that practical. Among the best tips to consider when searching online is to seek out popular sights that collect and filter offers and other sites.

For example, Baby Center has a collection of freebies that are useful to parents. You will find offers for free things, for coupons and for sweepstakes giveaways. Those three categories can be important indexes to use in search strings as well (freebies, coupons, and sweepstakes).

For freebies do not limit your thoughts to products though. Some the most useful freebies for new parents can be information. On websites like Triplets Mommy you will find both side by side. The products are specific and not all are generic or off-brand. There is also a wealth of information and materials that are there to help you adjust to your new life easily.

Some offers are specific but may require registration or the completion of requirements. An example of these sorts of freebies is Babies Online. This site requires the user to register and then shares the information. Of course, the reality is that some of that bulk spam will doubtlessly include some offers that you may want.

So, when you think babies you can smile knowing that there are numerous sources online that are created specifically to connect you with free things from all three categories (freebies, coupons, and sweepstakes). When you learn effective ways to find and take advantage of offers that are valuable to you it can create a certain amount of freedom in your life.

A sure way to double the joys of parenthood is to give birth to twins! You’ll have twice the smiles, goos & coos, giggles, and firsts (first words, first steps, first burps….) But for many soon-to-be parents of twins, once the excitement wears off, the math sets in….

Suddenly you find yourself with twice the dirty diapers, twice the mouths to feed in the middle of the night, twice the formula to buy. Then, there are twice the outfits and booties to get. You’ll need two cribs, playpens, baby swings…..The next thing you know, double the fun has turned into triple the financial stress.

But before you begin pulling out your hair and pawning the family keepsakes, read on. Many companies out there realize that oftentimes, parents of twins need an extra break. They offer coupons, freebies, discounts and many other incentives.

Cashing in on Free Stuff for Twins

Before you can cash in, you’ll need to do a little paperwork. However, I’m sure you’ll agree that a few moments of your time will certainly pay off. To receive any of the six free reward program incentives below you’ll need to provide each company with the following:

• A letter stating that you’ve just had twins. One of the easiest ways to do this is to create a generic form letter on your computer. Print out six copies of it, and keep it saved, since you’ll more than likely come across other offers that will also require a letter.

• Copies of your children’s birth certificates. While at a later point, you may be required to provide the company with a certified copy, at this point I’d only recommend that you send an unofficial copy. Or, to save yourself time and stamps, you can try to call or email the companies.

Once you’ve got this information together, you’re ready to get started. Here are just a few of the companies out there who are willing to help you get free stuff for twins:

You really can get free stuff, but yes, sometimes there are strings attached. For example, when we were at universal studios I got a free backpack. The catch? I spent six minutes filling out a credit card application. On the other hand, we ate pretty well on free sample days at local food stores when we lived in Tucson, and there really weren’t any strings attached, other than the risk of being sold a delicious new food. Check ut the easy freebies that follow.

Free Entertainment

Many libraries carry movies on DVD, and most at least have documentaries. We ‘ve even seen music videos on DVD in one library. The only cost? The time to get a library card.

Want free concerts? Festivals usually have some free musical entertainment. For example, the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Michigan has free entertainment every night during the week-long festival, including many recognizable bands and (often) a Beatles tribute band. Go to Google and type in “festival” and the name of towns around you to find these freebies.

Free Vacations

In Hawaii, Costa Rica or Colorado, someone is just waiting for you to come and stay in their house while they are away. You may have to water the plants, and even get the mail for them, but you get to stay in a beautiful home in a sunny place. Sometimes you even get paid for these vacations. The only catch is that to find these opportunities, you may have to subscribe to one of the newsletters that list them.

We camped for ten days in our van, at Williams Landing, east of Tallahassee, Florida, on Lake Talquin. It’s a beautiful place, and even has hot showers. Our cost? Zero – and you can stay up to two weeks. There are many free campgrounds scattered around the country. To find them, buy a Woodall’s directory from any large RV dealer. Camping can be an essentially free vacation if done right, because you may spend less than if you stayed home.

More Ways To Get Free Stuff

Many states give away free road maps. Some also give away free legal forms, like statutory wills. Check the state’s online sites.

You can get free dental x-rays at some dental colleges. Be patient, as the students are just learning, but an experienced technician is always with them. When done, you’ll get the x-rays to take to your own dentist, which can save you $30 to $80. Some schools charge a small fee, but is always less than the regular cost.

Many utility companies offer free “energy audits.” They’ll come to your home and find the places where you are wasting energy. Some even han out free kits for caulking windows and weather-stripping doors. call and ask.

Want free, confidential business advice from a business expert? Go to the website of “SCORE” (Service Corps of Retired Executives). These are successful business executives who volunteer time to help others in business.

Some restaurants will give you a free dinner on your birthday. Others give a free birthday cake. Bars will often buy your first drink for you if it’s your birthday. How do you find the ones that do this? The way you always discover how to get free stuff – just ask.

Single parents often have to stretch every dime they have. One way to make your money go a little further is to get free stuff for single parents.

The first place to check online is Craigslist or other online classified ad sites. Look in the free section for items in your area and also check the barter area to see if you could possibly trade something that you no longer use for an item that you need.

Another online source is the Freecycle Yahoo! Group. A Yahoo! Group is an email list where you can send and receive emails from other group members. Freecycle groups are based on location, so join the one in the area nearest to you. Etiquette for the group dictates that you post an item for free first before you start trying to get free things for yourself. Usually, the first person to respond to the email for an item will get it, but some offers include certain criteria that you must meet. If you are successful, make sure to take another person with you to pick up your freebie for safety reasons. Clothing, books, household, and some unusual items may be offered.

Coupons may sometimes be available offering items for zero cost. Your local newspaper is a good source, or you can search for online coupons. You may want to ask your friends to save their coupon inserts for you so that you could potentially have multiple coupons for an item that you want.

If you don’t mind getting dirty, dumpster diving can be lucrative for some people. Many perfectly usable things are thrown away. Learn when garbage day is for affluent neighborhoods and drive down the streets the night before. You might be surprised at what you find sitting at the curb.

Do you take prescription medications? Be sure to ask your doctor for samples at your next visit. if you are not taking a generic version. Check the website of the drug manufacturer for coupons. Some drug companies offer a free one-month supply just for trying their medication.

Spread the word to your coworkers and friends if you need specific items like particular clothing sizes. You may find someone that has just what you need. Whenever you have good used items, return the goodwill by giving the items to someone who can benefit from them.

Does your family enjoy eating out? Local chain restaurants and other eateries may offer kids eat free nights. You can usually get one or two kids meals for free if you purchase an adult meal.

Online freebie sites are another source of free stuff. You can find coupons, product samples, t-shirts, software and many other useful things. Many sites offer a newsletter that you can register for to keep up with what’s new on the site.
