   It was a long time since I’ve read those magazines, but yes, I did win something once. I don’t remember what… a pair of jeans or something.
   If you win, they notify you – either by mail or phone or whatever. Then depending on the value of the prize, you might need fill out some forms for tax purposes, but it’s not really complicated to do so.

   Yes, I won a BCBG bag from Seventeen year before last.They didn’t really notify me,and it took me months to recieve it.

   My sister won an expensive cashmere sweater, all she did was fill out the entry. You just have to be lucky, I guess. They aren’t fake, if that is what you are trying to politely ask. The Federal government has really cracked down on fraudulent sweepstakes. Trust me, the penalty would be too harsh to justify them trying to scam the readers.
